Description
A cut round example initialled “E.D.W.” (Edmond Dalzell Wight, clerk to the colonial post office) with deep paper colour, and neatly cancelled by July 13th 1851 Demerara circular date stamp.(trivial small thin at bottom right).
The overall condition of this example is far superior to most. It`s impression initial and cancel are all quite clear. Most have faults much more severe than the inconsequential tiny thin this stamp has.
